1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ProductScrapes API and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ProductScrapes provides an API for extracting product data from publicly available e-commerce web pages. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with various plan tiers.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. API Usage

  • You may use the API only within the limits of your subscription plan.
  • API tokens are personal and must not be shared with third parties.
  • You must not use the Service to overload, disrupt, or abuse target websites.
  • Rate limits and monthly quotas are enforced per plan. Exceeding these may result in request rejection.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
  • Use the Service to collect personal data about individuals without their consent.
  • Send automated requests designed to overwhelm or degrade the Service.

6. Billing & Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
  • Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
  • You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are provided for partial months or unused lookups.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by ProductScrapes. Data returned by the API originates from third-party websites; you are responsible for ensuring your use of such data complies with applicable laws and the terms of those websites.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data returned will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductScrapes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising out of your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
